Classes are for 1 hour and have a maximum of 12 people; this enables me to ensure you exercise safely and correctly and allows you to get the very best out of each class and progress towards your goals.

Exercises are demonstrated and you will be given verbal and hands on cueing.
All clients work to their own level of fitness and abilities, focusing on control, core strength and flowing movement.
During a typical 6 week term there will be a natural progression throughout the classes.
Prior to joining a group it is recommended you have an initial consultation, where you can learn some of the basics meet the teacher and discuss any ongoing medical condition or injuries.
My initial consultations are free of charge. However in some cases it may prove necessary to book a short course of 1:1's before starting with a group.

A single 1-1 is £30 per hour.    If you book 3 or more the price goes down to £25 per hour

Private classes for two are available £50.

Do I need any equipment? All equipment is provided. All you need to bring is yourself a willingness to learn. A sense of humor is a bonus!
What should I wear?Wear clothes that you can move easily in, nothing too baggy as I need to see your movements clearly. It is important that you feel comfortable during the class.
Will I lose weight by doing Pilates?Pilates focuses on controlled flowing movement. Although Pilates is not an aerobic form of exercise, many clients express the awareness of improved tone and lengthened muscles.

Will Pilates cure my 'bad back'? As a Pilates teacher we are often referred to as movement specialists. This being so we are NOT medically qualified. However, Pilates will help to aid recovery but it is important to check with your medical practitioner to get confirmation you are ready to do so. Any referrals by a medical practitioner would require you to attend an initial consultation and in some cases book a short course of private 1-1's before starting a group class.
